The “ALL PAKISTAN COMMERCIAL EXPORTERS ASSOCIATION OF ROUGH & UNPOLISHED PRECIOUS AND SEMI PRECIOUS STONES” (APCEA) established in 1988 at Peshawar. The Association is duly registered with Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Commerce and affiliated with the Federation of Pakistan, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Islamabad. This Association represents the traders and exporters involved in export of all kind of precious & semi precious stones. Pakistan is the home of finest coloured gemstones and its demand is growing very rapidly in International Markets. The Association is fully aware of the situation and making all possible efforts to take the advantages of the situation and gear-up its activities to transfer the benefits to the Nation in the shape of foreign exchange.

MANAGEMENTS

The day to day affairs of the Association are being run by a Board of Executive Committee Members headed by a Chairman. The tenure of Executive Members is two years whereas the tenure of office bearers is one year. The Association have two Zonal Offices at Lahore and Karachi and the affairs of both the Zones are looked-after by Vice Chairman of respective Zone under supervision of APCEA Chairman.

ACHIEVEMENTS

From the first very day of establishment of APCEA, all the members and especially the managements have been working regularly like a clock to achieve the desired goals. All the credits of successes go to the Association who has been able to discover new markets not only in Western countries but in Gulf States also for export of Pakistani Gems in their markets. Today by the grace of ALMIGHTY ALLAH, Pakistan and especially Peshawar Capital is known as main hub of gems/minerals at International level. Some of the major achievements of the Association are enumerated hereunder:-

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO MEMBERS

As stated above, it has always been our TOP PRIORITY to extend all possible support to our members and facilitate them in export business. The Association fully recognized that meeting between the local exporters and foreign buyers are most important for sustaining the business and exploring new enterprises. We ensure to help our members in establishment of business relation with foreign counterparts. For the purpose, we have been providing services to exporters in getting visas for different countries very successfully. Apart from above, we also have been assuring participation of our members in foreign exhibitions in order to introduce Pakistani gems/minerals from the respective plate forms. Our these efforts have beard fruitful results which is a source of further increasing of foreign exchange

PAKISTAN GEMS & MINERAL SHOW (PGMS)

The Association has adopted an idea to celebrate a Gems & Mineral Show “PAKISTAN GEMS & MINERAL SHOW”. The first show was held in 1994 at Peshawar and since then the same has been celebrating every year with collaboration of TDAP. So far, we have arranged PGMS uptil the year. The main purpose of the show is to search new buyers and make permanent contacts with them for booking export orders. It has proved very useful to expand the export business of gemstone. Due to this show, we have able to achieve the desired results which are not only a source of personal benefits for local exporters but also a source of increase of foreign exchange.
